AEON Volunteer Team: Christian Action DIY Eco-Christmas Decoration Workshop

On 14th November, the AEON volunteer team visited the Christian Action Mong Kok Service Centre to lead a group of underprivileged primary school students in creating eco-friendly Christmas decorations using various materials, promoting a sustainable Christmas season.

AEON has consistently fulfilled its corporate social responsibility by organizing volunteer teams to engage in various social and environmental contribution activities monthly, benefiting individuals with different needs and making contributions to the sustainable development of society.

In the activity, various materials donated by different organizations earlier were utilised and combined to transform into lovely Christmas decorations. At the end, the volunteers presented the handmade creations as gifts to the participating service recipients.

Through this activity, the message of "valuing resources and reducing waste" was shared with the participants, encouraging them to utilise the most of resources and minimize waste in their daily lives. Additionally, this occasion provided an opportunity to care for the community, extending early blessings to the children and their families in need, and creating a warm and green Christmas atmosphere.
