"Protect the Future of Ocean" Marine Conservation Workshop

AEON is devoted to joining hands with customers to contribute for environmental conservation, including promotion of eco-friendly products to encourage customers to take actions to conserve biodiversity.

To educate customers about sustainable seafood and promote the "Sustainable Seafood Week" organized by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Hong Kong, "Protect the Future of Ocean" Marine Conservation Workshop was held in AEON STYLE Kornhill on 27th October. WWF was invited to educate participants about marine ecology and sustainable seafood. One of the effective ways to protect the ocean is to select seafood products that are MSC- or ASC-certified, or green-listed in WWF Seafood Guide.

During the activity, participants were divided into groups to look for various sustainable seafood products in the supermarket, so that they could learn to identify sustainable seafood and live green in daily life. Before the end of the activity, each of the children designed their own poster to convey the message of marine conservation to family and friends.
