AEON Day X AEON Cheers Club Coastal Cleanup Activity

On 11th November - "AEON Day", we organised a coastal cleanup activity for AEON Cheers Club members at Sam Pak Wan on Lantau Island. 45 kids and other volunteers of AEON picked up and recorded the data of various marine litters scattered on the beach. Within an hour, we have collected 20 bags of marine litter, while plastic items accounted for the highest proportion.

Through this activity, the children have raised awareness of coastal cleanliness. We also hope that everyone will work together to reduce waste, especially by reducing the use of disposable plastic items, so that we can create a better environment of Hong Kong's coastal areas!
