AEON 30th Anniversary: “Guardians of the Forest” FSC Workshop

Taking the occasion of celebrating 30th Anniversary, AEON has planned a series of environmental initiatives, including promotion of eco-friendly products to encourage customers to take actions to conserve biodiversity.

On 17th June 2017, a "Guardians of the Forest" FSC Workshop was held in AEON STYLE Kornhill, which invited the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to educate participants about protecting forests and their wildlife. FSC sets standards for responsible forest management. By choosing FSC-certified products, i.e. products that come from responsibly managed forests, we can help to promote sustainable forest management which is important for protecting forests around the world, their ecological system and resources, as well as all the plants and animals that inhabit them. 

During the activity, participants were divided into groups to look for products with FSC logo in different sales areas. These include paper and wood products, such as tissue paper, greeting cards, notebooks, pencils, as well as other products with packaging made of FSC-certified materials, such as drinks and toys.
