AEON 30th Anniversary: “Marine Adventure” Marine Conservation Workshop

Taking the occasion of celebrating 30th Anniversary, AEON has planned a series of environmental initiatives, including promotion of eco-friendly products to encourage customers to take actions to conserve biodiversity.

On 3rd June 2017, a "Marine Adventure" workshop was held in AEON STYLE Kornhill, which invited World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Hong Kong to educate participants about marine ecology and sustainable seafood. One of the effective ways to protect the ocean is to select seafood products that are MSC- or ASC-certified, or green-listed in WWF Seafood Guide.

During the activity, parents and children were divided into groups to look for various sustainable seafood products in the supermarket, so that they could learn to identify sustainable seafood and live green in daily life. Before the end of the activity, each of the children designed their own postcard with stickers and colour pens to convey the message of marine conservation to family and friends.
