AEON Tottori & Okayama Food Fair Opening Ceremony

AEON STYLE Kornhill celebrated its grand opening on 8th July 2016. In order to celebrate the opening, AEON organized “Tottori & Okayama Food Fair” together with the Tottori and Okayama Prefectural Government. The fair was collected with the region's popular products, tourism and cultural information. Popular products include watermelon and red snow crab from Tottori, the white peach and Muscal and Pione grapes from Okayama.

Tottori & Okayama Food Fair Opening Ceremony was held in the afternoon of 8th July. Mr. Shinji Hirai, the Governor of Tottori Prefecture, Mr. Hiroshi Kyou, Director General Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries Okayama Prefectural Government, Mr. Vincent Wong & Ms. Yoyo Chen, famous Hong Kong celebrities and Mr. Conan & Mr. Kitaro, well known comics characters were invited to officiate with Mr. Yoshiaki Mizushima, Deputy Managing Director of AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited for the opening ceremony.

In the ceremony, Mr. Hirai and Mr. Kyou introduced the travel information, region’s cultures, history and famous goods of Tottori & Okayama to Hong Kong Customers. Mr. Vincent Wong and Ms. Yoyo Chen shared their supports and happy shopping experiences to customers. They also held Q&A prize game with MC, Ms. Sammi Cheung. Customers greatly enjoyed the game and could answer questions which related to AEON STYLE, Tottori and Okayama quickly and correctly.

Well known cartoon characters, Conan and Kitaro got big cheer from customers when they came out. In order to reply the loves from fans, they are going to hold 8 fans meetings from 8th to 10th July. Fans can take photos and play game with them at that time.
