AEON Thai Food Fair Opening Ceremony

AEON organised the Thai Food Fair 2016 from 5th to 18th of May, bringing customers a wide variety of great authentic food and beverages from the tropical paradise. On the first day of the event, an opening ceremony was held in Tuen Mun Town Plaza with Mr. Witt Maneenetr, Trade Commissioner and Consul of Royal Thai Consulate-General, and representatives of Sino Group, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Airways International and Shing Kee Lan Company Limited as officiating guests.

The ceremony featured two Thai traditional dance performances and a cooking demonstration of Thai dishes. Both have drawn an audience of viewers. After the ceremony, the guests gathered and had a taste of a variety of fresh fruits and delicacies from Thailand.

While the guests were enjoying the country’s fabulous food, a few steps away in the event hall, many customers also grab this chance to shop for the exotic food products. It is hoped that this spectacular event has given shoppers a chance to discover the rich culture and exquisite cuisine of Thailand.
