AEON Day: Visit Grace Nursing Home (Tak Tin)

On the AEON DAY of February, AEON volunteer team visited Grace Nursing Home (Tak Tin). The volunteers played games and sang traditional Chinese New Year Songs with the elderly to celebrate Lunar New Year.

Mr. Hideaki Yajima, Administration Deputy Managing Director of AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co. Limited and Mr. Tomoharu Fukayama, Marketing General Manager of AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co. Limited presented a fruit basket to Grace Nursing Home to kick off the event. After playing games with the elderly, volunteers taught them to make decorative lanterns with used red pockets. Everyone enjoyed the handmade very much.

The most exciting moment was when a God of Wealth played by an AEON volunteer gave red pockets and gifts to the elderly. Both volunteers and the elderly had a great time together. We wish the elderly have a healthy and happy life in the Year of the Monkey.
