The Opening Ceremony of the “Used Book Recycling Campaign 2015”, jointly organized by AEON and World Vision Hong Kong, was held in Plaza Hollywood on 30th July to express our appreciation to the sponsors of the Campaign, as well as to kick-off the charity sale.

AEON and World Vision have been working together to organize the “Used Book Recycling Campaign” since 1992 to raise funds for education projects in China. This year, the Campaign has collected over 300 thousand books.

The Opening Ceremony had the honour of the presence of legislators Mr. James To Kun-sun and Frederick Fung Kin-kee, as well as actress Joey Meng Yee-man and actor Kay Ho Kay-yau. Each of them donated one of their beloved books for the charity sale, which is held from 30th July to 10th August in Plaza Hollywood, Diamond Hill. All proceeds will be used for the construction of a multi-purpose building in Yunnan Province to provide a safe environment for the students.
