AEON Day: Salvation Army Tak Tin Community Day Rehabilitation Service Visit

On 15th June, volunteers from AEON and Po Leung Kuk Tin Shui Wai Rehabilitation Centre visited the Salvation Army Tak Tin Community Day Rehabilitation Service in Lam Tin.

This activity is part of the "Cultivate with Heart, Care the Nature" Programme, organised by Po Leung Kuk and sponsored by AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited. The volunteers from Po Leung Kuk had learnt about organic planting earlier in another activity of the Programme and came to share with others in the community.

The volunteers and participants from the Salvation Army Tak Tin Community Day Rehabilitation Service first divided into groups for an "organic planting quiz". The volunteers of Po Leung Kuk then shared some photos and what they had learnt in previous activities. After that, they demostrated how to plant a pot of herbs and helped the participants of Salvation Army to plant their own. Finally, we distributed planting sets and gift packs to show our love and care to the community.
