AEON “Yellow Receipt Campaign” Phase 4 Donation Ceremony

AEON has been dedicated to meet its obligations of being a good corporate citizen, trying its best to contribute to the community by holding different CSR programs. Starting from August 2012, AEON has launched a fund-raising Campaign named “Yellow Receipt” in Hong Kong and other areas of China on the 11th of each month. In that day, an extra receipt in yellow colour (yellow receipt) will be given to our customers after purchasing with the total transaction amount printed on it. Customers are invited to vote for the charity organizations that they would like to support by putting the yellow receipts into the given boxes. Goods with the value of 1% of total transaction amount voted will be donated to the organizations by AEON to support their charitable activities. Up to 11 July 2014, AEON has held “Yellow Receipt” campaign in China for 2 years. Total 141 stores of 13 group companies in 17 cities have joined this campaign and total 190 charity organizations have participated and be benefited.

 

In Phase 4 of “Yellow Receipt” campaign from February to July 2014, AEON Hong Kong has collected over 240,000 votes and will donate goods of more than HK$350,000 to 12 charity organizations, including: Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation, Po Leung Kuk, The Hong Kong Society for the Aged, Eco Association, St. James' Settlement, Food Grace – Food Recycling Scheme, World Wide Fund For Nature Hong Kong, Fu Hong Society, Helping Hand, HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre and The Conservancy Association.
 

In order to share the joy with customers and charity organizations, “Yellow Receipt” Donation Ceremony of Phase 4 is held on 23rd August at AEON Kornhill Store. AEON would also take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to our customers, the charity organizations and all related parties. Through “Yellow Receipt” campaign, AEON not only strengthened the relationship and cooperation and with local charity organizations, but also converted customers’ love and care to practical actions. “Yellow Receipt” Campaign will continue to be held on the 11th of each month in the future, please continue to support us!
