“AEON STYLE YAU TONG” OFFICIALLY OPENS

AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited (“AEON Stores” or the “Group”) (stock code: 984) announced the official opening of its fourth AEON STYLE store today. Located in Domain Mall, Yau Tong, the new “AEON STYLE Yau Tong” (or the “Store) is ideally situated in the heart of East Kowloon. Served by a well-established and convenient transportation network the new store is close to many large housing estates, shopping malls and popular outing and sightseeing spots, offering a novel one-stop, diversified and happy shopping experience to customers.

 

The Group is dedicated to long-term active commitments to environmental protection and fulfilling its social responsibilities. Apart from rolling out the “AEON Happy Yellow Receipt Campaign," which began in 2012, at all AEON stores on the 11th of each month, the official opening of "AEON STYLE Yau Tong" also features the "AEON STYLE Yau Tong Cheers Club" recruiting nearby primary one to secondary three students who live nearby the store as members. Stimulating environmental education activities will be organised with the aim of arousing children's interest and concern for nature and raise their awareness of environmental protection issues. This year, the AEON Environmental Foundation will also donate solar power generation systems to four primary schools, one in East Kowloon, with the aim of inspiring and promoting the practical application of renewable energy and advancing environmental education.

 

Occupying approximately 46,100 square feet over two floors, the layout of the new “AEON STYLE Yau Tong” is planned to accomodate the lifestyle of young families and office workers in the vicinity. The Store has also introduced various new Japanese-related elements, including a wide range of high-quality merchandise at affordable prices, as well as new lifestyle solutions, providing an enriched shopping experience and enjoyable, healthy and quality shopping fun. On the second-floor themed "Fresh．Japan．Delicious", a "Supermarket" sells food items from Japan and around the world to customers. The "Delica+" area and the "PAIN DES CANTE" bakery presents a variety of Japanese style bentos, light meals, sushi, breads and desserts. The first-floor features five zones under the theme “Simple．Fashion．Comfort”. "Home Living" zone provides high-quality kitchenware, bathroom products, tableware, furniture and other products to meet daily household needs, while “Fashion” zone sells a variety of Japanese-style casual and fashionable wear. “Beauty Corner” zone is specially designed for women, offering a series of beauty and skin care products. The “Kids Zone” provides a series of trendy stationery, toys and merchandise. There is also the “Pet Goods Zone” presenting various types of Japanese-branded pet food and accessories. In addition, a large number of its popular proprietary brands are available at "AEON STYLE Yau Tong", including "HÓME CÓORDY", AEON’s own brand of popular household products; underwear and casual wear brand "iC Innercasual" items; and, an indoor playground for children, "Molly Fantasy", is expected to open at the soonest possible date of 21 April, in response to the government’s anti-pandemic policy. In addition, an affordable lifestyle department store "Daiso Japan" will also be available.
