AEON Awarded "Best Green Practice in Shops (Retail Sector) - Merit" by Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance

AEON has always been devoted in supporting environmental protection and contributing to a sustainable society over the years through different activities and measures. AEON has joined the Hong Kong Green Shop Alliance (HKGSA) which was founded in May 2017 and aims to build a platform for both developers and shops to work together for a "Green Hong Kong". AEON has participated in different campaigns to show our support in environment protection, such as co-organising the "Plastic Free Shopping Campaign" with Greeners Action.

On 4th December, AEON was awarded the "Best Green Practice in Shops (Retail Sector) - Merit" in the HKGSA Award Presentation Ceremony in recognition of its contribution in building a green shopping environment in Hong Kong. AEON is honored to receive this appreciation and will continue to provide a variety of green and sustainable merchandises and construct a green shopping environment for its customers.

AEON Stores was established in Hong Kong in 1985 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1994. The Group is mainly engaged in the operation of general merchandise stores (GMS). Currently, it operates 10 GMS, 2 independent supermarkets, 33 independent Living PLAZA by AEON, 30 independent Daiso Japan, 1 independent Bento Express by AEON and 4 Mono Mono and 3 KOMEDA'S Coffee in densely populated districts in Hong Kong.
