AEON Tottori Okayama Fair 2017 Opening Ceremony

To celebrate AEON STYLE Whampoa 1st anniversary, AEON organised the Tottori Okayama Fair 2017 from 1st to 10th of September, bringing customers a wide variety of great authentic food and beverages from Okayama and Tottori. On the first day of the event, an opening ceremony was held in the basement of Wonderful Worlds of Whampoa with Mr. Shinji Hirai, The Governor of Tottori Prefecture, Mr. Naosuke Ishikawa, Deputy Director General for Food & Agriculture Policy Planning Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries Okayama Prefectural Government, representatives of Hong Kong Airline and AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited as officiating guests.

Mr. Shinji Hirai and Mr. Naosuke Ishikawa gave speeches to introduce travel information and authentic food and beverages of Okayama and Tottori, followed by a featured quiz game that have drawn an audience of viewers. It is hoped that this spectacular event has given shoppers a chance to discover the rich culture and exquisite cuisine of Okayama and Tottori.
