AEON Japan Okinawa‧Kyushu Food Fair Opening Ceremony

AEON Japan Okinawa‧Kyush Food Fair Opening Ceremony was held on 16 March in Tuen Mun Town Plaza, officiated by Mr. Kiyotaka Saisho, Director of Okinawa Prefectural Government Hong Kong Representative Office, Mr. Hideaki Yajima, Director of Administration of AEON Stores (Hong Hong) Co., Limited, together with MAHAE, the Mascot of Okinawa.

The well-trained and energetic performing art team from Okinawa showcased traditional cultural performances, including Taiko dance, martial arts and Sanshin (three-string musical instrument) playing. At the end of their performance, they danced together with the audience off the stage and they all enjoyed in it. The special session after the ceremony - tuna fish cutting demonstration and tasting also drew a lot of audience. They were very interested and paid attention to master's explanation on how a tuna fish was being cut.

After the ceremony, MAHAE visited the event area and greeted the customers. MAHAE stayed in Hong Kong for a few days and held several meetings for Hong Kong friends.
