AEON Day: Helping Hand Jockey Club Housing for the Elderly CNY Visit

On the AEON Day of February, AEON volunteer team visited Helping Hand Jockey Club Housing for the Elderly in Wong Tai Sin for early celebration of Chinese New Year (Year of the Dog) with the elderly. The activities covered quiz games, handcraft making and songs singing. All of the participants were happy and enjoyed in the activities.

Mr. Hideaki Yajima, Director of Administration from AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co. Limited, delivered CNY greetings to all of the participants and presented a fruit basket to the representative of Helping Hand Jockey Club Housing for the Elderly, for kicking off the event. After playing games, the highlight of this CNY visit is to make "red packet dogs" with the elderly. All of them were very creative to make different versions of dogs. The volunteers and the elderly had a great time together.

The most surprising moment came when one of the volunteers dressed as Caishen to deliver red packets and gifts to the elderly. All of them were eager to take photos with Caishen and had enjoyed the visit with laughter.
